The Director General of Media and Publicity to Kogi Governor, Kingsley Fanwo has confirmed that Governor Yahaya Bello handed over to the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Matthew Kolawole before departing for Climate Change Summit in Poland. Fanwo disclosed this in Lokoja while fielding questions from Assembly Correspondents. He said the Governor did what is “necessary of him to keep the administration of the State going”. “Rt Hon. Matthew Kolawole is the Acting Governor of the State. He has been overseeing the affairs of the state since the departure of Governor Yahaya Bello to Poland. “As you can see, I have come to take briefs from him. APC Is Like A Religion in Kogi State – Fanwo

The Director General on Media and Publicity to the Governor of Kogi State, Mr Kingsley Fanwo has described the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as the party to beat in 2019. In an exclusive chat with Kogireports, Fanwo said APC is like a religion in Kogi State. He stated that the leadership of the party from the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, to the party structure have made APC attractive to Kogi electorate. The governor’s spokesman explained that the disposition of Governor Bello to youth and women inclusion has also expanded the frontiers of the party in the State.
