ATLON Worried as Kogi Govt Shuts Down 70 Telecom Sites

  
The Kogi State Government, Saturday shutdown 70 telecommunications sites, leading to a total blackout of telecom services in the state and other neighbouring states.



The Association of Licensed Telecom Operators of Nigeria (ATLON), disclosed this in a press conference today in Lagos.

“ALTON is worried by the action of the state government as it will jeopardise telecom services, especially to security agencies, financial services and other areas of the economy, ” said Gbenga Adebayo, Chairman of ALTON.
