Ebira Movie Actor, Kekere Itopa Dies of Heart Disease


One of Ebira foremost comic actors, Kekere Abdulmalik Itopa has passed on after a chronic heart disease that left him bedridden for days. 



Itopa as he was popularly known, died at the late hours of Sunday, leaving the social media awashed with pictures of him. 

Few hours before his passing away, his Director and movie Producer, Mr Calabash had commenced crowdfunding on facebook, soliciting for widow's mights that would give respite to the sick. 



He posted; "I bring this to you, as a matter of urgency, to help save a life of one of our great talents in EbiraEntertainment In the person of Kekere Itopa Abdulmalik  who's currently bedridden with chronic heart condition. We understand the current economic situation, even 100 naira from a reasonable number of people could help him a long way.

"In every condition, hope is necessary. The miseries of sickness without hope is insupportable. Let's give him a hope by donating our widow's might into his personal account."

Woman Allegedly ‘Dupes’ Kogi House of Rep Member of $49,800

A woman, Amarachukwu Chineke, who allegedly obtained $49,800 (about N15, 438,000) from member representing Idah Federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Emmanuel Egwu, under false pretences, was Monday brought before an Igbosere Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos. Chineke, 37, was arraigned by the Police Force Intelligence and Investigation Department (FCIID), Ikoyi, Lagos before Mrs Folashade Botoku on a three-count charge of conspiracy, obtaining under false pretence and stealing. Prosecuting Sergeant Friday Mameh, alleged that the defendant and others at large, committed the offences on September 19, on Abraham Adesanya Street, Lekki, Lagos. Non-Payment of Salaries: Workers Shut National Assembly, Demand Removal of Ataba Omolori

Hundreds of staff of the National Assembly on Tuesday shut lawmakers out of the complex to demand payment of their entitlements, calling for the removal of the Clerk of the National Assembly, Mohammed Ataba Omolori.  The workers held placards bearing inscriptions such as ‘Omolori is a contractor’ ‘Killing staff with poor condition of service’ and ‘Constitute the National Assembly Commission Now.’ Premium Times Reports.  The workers, members of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria, chanted songs as they blocked the entrance of both chambers of the National Assembly.
